First, the update on last week’s goals:
1. Exercise. Not happening. I’ve beed doing a couple leg exercises to help with RLS, but contractions are preventing me from really exercising. I guess I will have to just enjoy the next 3 months of guilt-free non-exercising. Dirty job. But someone has to do it!
2. Keep playing with my kids for an hour a day. Sort of kept up with this…
3. Sew up three new collections for Eliza Grace. Almost done! I should be able to finish this up this week without too much trouble.
4. Work on my kids attitudes. Can you believe this didn’t correct itself in a whole week? 5. Not go shopping. Except for food. Done!
This week:
1. Finish up my sewing projects for Eliza Grace and fix the curtains I bought for my family room in India.
2. Redecide on a paint color for the master bathroom, since Husband almost fainted when he saw me preparing to buy the paint. (”You’re buying what color??!?!”)
3. Play with my kids. Work on their attitudes. Not slack off all week just because Husband is traveling all. week. long. That’s not an excuse for me not to parent.

Okay — first the update on
last weeks goals:
1. Gain less then 10 pounds. Success! I actually stayed the same, despite an incredible level of chocolate consumption, which makes me very happy. I’d like to keep my first two trimester gain to 20 pounds, since the third trimester is when things get really out of control
2. Decide on paint colors for the master bedroom and bath. Also done! Our bedroom will be some shade of tan - I decided to go neutral so that I can change things easily and the bath will be… navy blue. I’ve never done such a dark color! Eek!
3. Exercise. Not once. Not even once.
4. Finish up my Christmas returns and make a Goodwill run. Done! Only now I have more returns to make after having our 4th Christmas with family this past Saturday….
5. Spend 1 hour playing with my kids every day. Done! I want to keep doing this one….
This week:
1. Exercise. I really need to do this, I know. I’m having a lot of Restless Leg problems at night and its keeping me awake - exercise is supposed to help.
2. Keep playing with my kids for an hour a day. Really playing.
3. Sew up three new collections for Eliza Grace and get them up in the store. As a treat to myself, I will also make a blanket for my baby boy! I think this one:
I just love that fabric. Although one of my new collections is totally adorable. Decisions, decisions!!
4. Work on my kids attitudes. We have been struggling lately with bossiness, selfishness, and being unthankful. (in other words, they are acting bratty…)
5. Not go shopping. Except for food.

1. Gain less then 10 pounds. (As I am cursing fancythis for dropping off a big ol’ bag of peanut butter balls and chocolate covered pretzels on Sunday night. I will get you back, my friend.)
2. Finally… finally… decide on paint colors for the master bedroom and bath. We have only lived here for over 2 years, after all, and it is high time to finish things up. I may be turning to ya’ll for help, cause I’m stumped.
3. Exercise. See Goal #1.
4. Clean out the floor of my closet by finishing up my Christmas returns (including the gifts I am returning because I forgot to give them to people. Duh!!) and making a Goodwill run.
5. Spend 1 hour playing with my kids every day. Not absentmindedly helping with a puzzle while talking on the phone, but really engaging and interacting with them.
